Tilapia is a great source of Omega 3s which is excellent for maintaining a healthy blood pressure and keeping heart disease at bay. It's also rich in protein and low in calories. It's a good source of magnesium and Vitamin B12. It has a mild taste, no carbs, no sugar, and very little fat. Be sure to purchase wild-caught American Tilapia to avoid the risk of consuming environmental toxins like high levels of mercury. Here is one of my favorite Tilapia recipes.
