My next free Challenge Group starts next Monday! This time it's a plank challenge! Are you ready to tone up and boost your core muscles to the max? The challenge has only 1 exercise which you have to do each day, and the time spent doing the exercise slowly increases day by day to help you build up your core muscle strength gradually, ensuring you are able to complete the final day of the challenge easily. We start with a 10 second plank. Are you in?
I am so excited about this program coming out next month. I know this is going to be my new #soulmate workout. I love yoga and Pilates and I can't wait to kick it up several notches! Most of us eat 2 or 3 times a day, and if we are trying to lose weight we cut back on that thinking if I just exercise our willpower then maybe we won't have to do much exercise.
Soon, your starving and give into defeat. You believe excuses like, "I'm too old." or "I have 'fat' genes." The problem could be that you aren't eating often enough! By eating 5 or 6 healthy, small meals every 2.5 to 3 hours you begin to retrain your metabolism to burn fat instead if store it. (Think feast or famine mentality.) I usually eat breakfast, lunch, dinner, and a couple of snacks in between meals. Your body will get accustomed to eating this way and you will be ready to eat that often, but you will never feel like you are starving, as you sometimes do at meal times. You might want to set an alarm on your phone to remind you when to eat. Try to eat breakfast as early as you can, and eat no later than 3 hours before bed. Don't forget to "like" this post or share it with someone who might find it helpful! This is one of my favourite recipes. My family always devours these in a matter of minutes. They are a perfect snack. Packed with super foods, my kids have no idea how healthy these really are.

The following are estimates because nutrition depends on the size & the exact ingredients you use: ~80 calories per heart ~7-8g protein Tilapia is a great source of Omega 3s which is excellent for maintaining a healthy blood pressure and keeping heart disease at bay. It's also rich in protein and low in calories. It's a good source of magnesium and Vitamin B12. It has a mild taste, no carbs, no sugar, and very little fat. Be sure to purchase wild-caught American Tilapia to avoid the risk of consuming environmental toxins like high levels of mercury. Here is one of my favorite Tilapia recipes.
Combine: 2 tsp garlic powder 2 tsp chili powder 1/2 tsp sea salt 1 tsp black pepper Sprinkle evenly over both sides of fillets and bake in a pan coated with evoo or coconut oil @ 450 for 10 min. Serve with roasted green beans and almonds, and a side salad and enjoy! Do you like hummus? I didn't like hummus at all until I tried this. I could eat this with every meal! Hummus is full of protein and ridiculously easy to make at home. My kids love it too!
